William W. Supplee Sr.
June 28, 1952 - February 27, 2009

William W. Supplee, Sr., 56, of Washington Township, NJ, died Friday, February 27, 2009 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Franklin Township.
Born: June 28, 1952 in Newark, NJ, he was a son of Joan Supplee of Hampton and the late Henderson Supplee.
Personal: He was a lifelong resident of the Washington area. He was CEO and president of General Redi-Chem of Oxford. He also owned and operated Color & Chemical Technologies. Bill graduated from Warren Hills High School, class of 1970. He earned a BA in chemistry and biology from Fairleigh-Dickinson University in 1974. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. He loved touring on his motorcycle. He also enjoyed boating and cooking. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family at his Florida home. Bill was a man you met and did not quickly forget. Many words come to mind when you say “Bill Supplee”: tall, intelligent, creative, fun, talented, entrepreneur, loving, generous to friends and family. He was a complex man who loved the simple life – enjoying a motorcycle ride; playing with the dog, Peyton; laying on the couch and blasting the TV. He was a man that many people looked up to – and not just because he was tall. He was a generous man who surely loved his family and valued his friends. He was the proudest father of Nicole and Bill, Jr. He glowed as Bill graduated from MIT, and was constantly amazed by Nicole’s genuine beauty and big heart. He was blessed with his loving wife Robin, who was his everything. He was a gentle man with a beautiful soul. He was loved, and loving.
Memberships: Bill was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington. He was also a member of the American Motorcycle Association.
Survivors: His loving wife of 28 years Robin; his caring children, a daughter Nicole Supplee of Washington and a son William W. Supplee Jr. of Mountain View, CA; his mother Joan Supplee of Hampton; two sisters, Gail Bell and her husband Denis of Hackettstown; and Nell Supplee of Hampton; mother-in-law Cecelia Rae and her husband Donald “Murph” of Washington; and many nieces and nephews.
Services: Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. in Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial with Father Blaise Baran officiating will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Avenue, Washington. Burial will be in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Alliance, PO Box 1285, Belle Mead, NJ 08502 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Robin, Billy, Nicole, Bill and I worked very closely together for a number of years at Pfizer.  We spent many hours together on the road talking about business, independent business opportunities, family and life.  We got to know each other quite well.  Bill was a very bright man who often lived on the edge and wanted to use his creativeness to explore and live life to the fullest.  No matter what direction he went, Bill was clear that Robin, Nicole, and Billy were his loves and his life.  I am deeply saddened by Bill's passing.  He was too young to leave.  For sure Bill made the most of his life while he was here.  Life did not pass him by.  Please accept my deepest sympathies.  My thoughts and prayers are truly with you.
