Ronald Argus

Ronald Argus, 84, of Washington, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, at Country Arch Nursing Home in Pittstown, New Jersey.

Born on December 3, 1941, in Providence, Rhode Island, Ronald was the son of the late Alfred and Stella Argus (née Rogowski). He was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and went on to have a successful career as a consultant in the mechanical design industry.

Ronald had a deep love of reading, with a particular passion for United States history. He found great enjoyment in learning about the past and sharing that knowledge with others.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Argus (née Giaquinto); his children, Debra Argus Pickering and her husband Edward, Stefanie Argus and her wife Lilit, and Ron Argus and his fiancée Erin; his cherished grandchildren, James Broady, Elena Argus, and Leo Argus Chilingaryan; and his great-grandchildren, JJ, Tyler, and Brielle.

Ronald is also survived by his brother, Robert Argus and his wife Ruth; his sister, Marilyn Campbell and her husband Mark; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

All services have been made private and are under the direction of Warren Hills Memorial Home.
