Carol A. Dodd

Carol A. Dodd, of Washington, passed away peacefully at her home on May 12, 2026, with her loving husband by her side, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 78 years old.

Born on January 8, 1948, in Morristown, Carol was the daughter of the late Lorenzo Lunger and Carolyn O’Dell. She lived a life filled with adventure, passion, and love for the outdoors.

Carol was a proud member of the American Motorcyclist Association and the Antique Motorcycle Club of America. She and her husband shared a deep love for motorcycle riding and spent countless memorable years traveling across the country together, visiting many of the nation’s beautiful national parks. In addition to her love for motorcycles, Carol also enjoyed horseback riding and hiking, always finding peace and joy in nature.

She is survived by her loving husband, George Ziobro, children; Amanda Pool and Richard Dodd. Daughter in law, Kathy Dodd, Brother, Ralph Barrett, grandchildren, Jacob Pool, Morgan Pool, Jonathan Dodd, Jaden Mimlich.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home. A service celebrating Carol’s life will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Children's.
