Linda Sharpe, 62, of Oxford, NJ, passed away on May 23, 2011 at home.
Born: December 15, 1948 in NY, NY, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Swander.
Personal: Linda lived in Oxford for 16 years, coming from Budd Lake and Victory Gardens, NJ. Linda worked for Acme Super Market and retired from the Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton, NJ in 2011, after working there four years. Linda enjoyed watching horror movies and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors: Her loving husband, Cecil; a daughter, Christine Drown and her husband Scott of Hillsborough, NJ; a son, Joshua Abrams of Hackettstown, NJ; a brother, Robert Swander of Belleville, NJ; a sister, Patricia Swander of Belmar, NJ; five grandchildren, Gavin, Joseph, Tyler-James and Danielle; two great-grandchildren, Raeghan and K.C.
Services: Visitation will be Friday, May 27, 2011 5 to 7 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Services, Friday, May 27, 2011 at 7 p.m. with Pastor James Scovell officiating, at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ. Cremation will be private.
