Louis N. Morgan, 66, of Arlington , Va. formally of Washington , NJ , passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 , in Virginia Hospital Center .Born: He was born in Newton to Louis & Marie Gruendyke Morgan.
Personal: He was retired from his medical career with Prince George ’s County Hospital in Maryland , Prince William Hospital in Virginia and Society of Nuclear Medicine in Virginia .Louis was employed part time as a tax prepare for Jackson Hewitt in Arlington . Louis was raised in Warren County NJ , graduating from Washington High School in 1960. He continued his education and earned his undergraduate degree from George Washington University , Masters Degree from Southern University and a PhD from Century University . Louis proudly served in the Air Force for 8 years.
Survivors: He is survived by his partner of 31 years Kelley Arnold; five sisters and brother In-Laws, Dianne and Donald Woolverton of Pavo, GA, Crystal and George Wagner of Washington, NJ., Lucinda and Leonard Stires of Bath, PA, Sally and Mark Loshelder of Thousand Oaks, Cal, Ada and Richard Dittar of Stewartsville, NJ; 25 nieces and nephews. Anyone who knew Louis knew his love for animals, he also leaves behind his precious Chihuahua Holly Jo. Predeceased by his parents, Adam Gioglio, Louis and Marie Morgan, a sister and brother In-law Helen & Brent Hann, his beloved Chihuahuas Lucy, Rosie and Sandy. His kind hearted actions will be fondly remembered by many.
Services: A memorial service will be held in Virginia on Monday June 15, 2 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd , Arlington , VA.
A memorial Service and interment of Cremains will be held in New Jersey on Friday July 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Musonetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton .
