Neil J. Mayberry, 80, of Oxford, NJ, passed away peacefully at Warren Haven Nursing Home on January 24, 2012.
Born: August 20, 19 31 in Port Murray, NJ, he was a son of the late Joseph and Allie Mayberry.
Personal: Neil was a lifelong resident of the Washington area. Neil was a salesman for S.E.A. Automotive and Dixie Wax, both of Washington, retiring in 1991. Neil graduated from Hackettstown High School, class of 1949. Neil and his wife Janet enjoyed camping with family and friends.
Memberships: Neil was a past member of the Washington Borough Fire Department Station 83.
Survivors: his loving wife of 60 years, Janet; a daughter, Debbie Minnick and her husband Glenn of Washington; a son, Jeffery Mayberry of Lower Mount Bethel, PA; a sister, Jean Barnes of Belvidere; four grandchildren, Jeffery, Jamie, Michael and Lindsey; four great-grandchildren, Emma Suzanne, Ashley, Christopher and Emma Rose.
A sister, Gloria Julian Passed earlier.
Services: Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Services will be Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Pastor James Scovell Officiating, at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Burial in the Port Murray Cemetery.
