Louis “Lou” Jenikovsky, 73, of Washington, NJ, passed away on December 30, 2011 at the Hunterdon Medical Center.
Born: August 31, 1938 in Jackson Heights, NY to the late Louis and Bertha Jenikovsky.
Personal: Lou lived in Washington, NJ for 36 years and prior to that in Rutherford, NJ.
He was an Instrument Technician for Hoffman La Roche in Belvidere, NJ, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the 1956 graduating class of Kearney High School.
Lou proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force.
He was a coach for the Washington Township Youth Association and was an avid fan of the New York Giants. Lou loved to travel to the Islands and Las Vegas. He enjoyed bowling and loved to play video games, but above all, Lou loved his family and treasured the moments spent with them.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Memberships: Lou was a member of the Hoffman La Roche Retirement Club.
Survivors: His loving wife of 42 years, Linda Jenikovsky; his beloved daughter, Tanya Breen and her husband, Jeff of Bath, PA; a sister, Joan Wetzel and her husband, John of Kissimee, FL; a brother-in-law, Anthony and his wife, ToniAnn of Rivervale, NJ; a grand-daughter, Kayla; and three nieces and two nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Paula O’Connor.
DATES: Visitation Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services Wednesday, January 4, 2012 10 a.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Cremation will be private.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of one’s choice.
