Dorothy M. Carney of Lambertville, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2012 at Foot Hill Acres in Hillsborough, NJ
Born: November 13, 1948 in Elizabeth, NJ.  She was the daughter of the late Charles & Margaret Steingraber.
Personal: Dorothy was previously an insurance agent. She left the insurance business to pursue her dream of becoming an artist. She was a very talented Artist.  She loved to paint and her passion for it can be seen in every brush stroke she made and every photograph taken.  She will be remembered by many and her work appreciated for generations to come. Dorothy loved her family and especially her grandchildren.  She cherished each and every moment she would spend with them.
Survivors: Her loving daughters Karen Protopapas and her husband Michael of Washington, NJ. Pamela Luckenbaugh and her husband Scott of Hillsborough, NJ.
A brother Charles "Chip" Carney of Florida.
7 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Thea, Zoe, Justin, Alex, Brandon, Kelsey. 
Dorothy also leaves behind her loyal cocker spaniel Maggie.
Services: Visitation will be held from 2-3:30 pm on Saturday February 11, 2012 at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882.
A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3:30pm.
