Phyllis H. Bush, 80, of Washington Township, NJ, passed away peacefully at Easton Hospital on July 11, 2011 .
Born: in New Castle, PA, September 3, 1930, a daughter of the late Basil and Helen Hunt.
Personal: She was a resident of Washington Township for 50 years. Previously she lived in High Bridge, NJ.
Phyllis was a teacher for thirty six years at Taylor Street School in Washington. Earlier in her life she worked at Frenchtown Elementary school, retiring in 1988.
She graduated from High Bridge High School class of 1948, She earned a BA in education from Maryland College for woman and Trenton State College.
Phyllis was an avid reader, she loved animals and enjoyed flowers.
Memberships: Phyllis was a member of the United Methodist church in High Bridge, NJ. Phyllis was a member of the NJEA NJ State and Warren County chapters. Member of the DAR Warne Chapter, Member of the Order of the Eastern Star Hobart Chapter #63 in High Bridge.    
Survivors: Her loving husband of 60 years Robert; a sister-in-law, Mary Bush of Lebanon, NJ;  a niece, Mona Moss and her husband David and their children Justin and Kyle all of Whitehouse Station, NJ; a niece, Debbie Bush and her companion Cathy of Maine; her lifelong friend Mary Zajac.
Services: Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2011, 9 to 11 a.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Services will be Friday July 15, 2011, at 11 a.m. service with Pastor Darleen Schott officiating, at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Burial in the Montana Mountain Cemetery, Harmony, NJ.
