-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Condolence: My heart goes out to you. Scott and I were fraternity brothers at Flagler College. He was the first person I met the day we arrived at school and remained friends from that day on. Since I learned the news many great memories have come flooding back. Many of his fellow Alumni will have a chance to share those similar stories when we gather at our reunion in St. Augustine on the 28th. He will be in our thoughts that day and for the rest of our lives. God Bless,
Jim Sheldon

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about Scott. My prayers are with you. Scott was a friend of mine in High School. I knew him as "Boogie." Me and Sharon and Jessica used to hang out with Scott and his crew of friends. He was always such a nice guy and I have very fond memories of him. My parents still live in Washington and informed me of the obituary. I was shocked and very saddened by this information. I just wanted to offer my condolences and let you know what a great person he was.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Condolence: My deepest heart felt sympathies to all who have been touched by the passing of our great friend. Especially to the Shaw & Jost families, who by all accounts are one in the same. I shall deeply miss Scott. I could always count on him to talk about life, business, and especially the Steelers. From the first day I met him, I knew I was going to like him forever. His passion for school achievement & the opportunity to play basketball at the high school level drove him to achievement. While he was with McKesson (medical supply company)I could always count on him whenever we needed medical supplies. Each Mckesson label quickly reminded me of Scott immediately & his accountability. I saw Scott often when he was in Florida. I invited him to come & see Gator football & basketball games just to hang out together & relive the times of growing up together in Washington. We shared many friends together because he was an easy person to like and respect. Like all of us I will miss his friendship greatly. I know that he is in a better place, a place of comfort and peace. I strongly believe that he ran the race of life to win. I know that I will see him again in time. Peace unto you, Andrew Miller

Regardless of whether it was late at night, on the weekend, or in the middle of a busy day, he always helped. You could bounce ideas off of him and he would always recommend something that one never thought about. We were truly blessed to have worked with Scott.

Condolence: Our hearts and prayers go out to the Shaw and Jost Family. I met Scott when I was a young child through my cousins Lisa and Lynne Bittner when we played as young children. As a group of close friends, we loved to play basketball at the park. I remember bringing shovels to the park and we would shovel the courts when it had snowed. We shared many good times that will not ever be forgotten. I remember the days of riding bicycles together and when Scott got his moped. Both Scott and I shared an interest in olderer (antique) cars, the Nova and the Mustang. I'll never forget working with Scott and the Jost Family up on the mountain. Scott was such a good friend, he took care of me many times when I had one too many and Jay Shulman when he crashed his bicycle. We will miss you Scott.
