Linda Susan Santini, 72, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on February 18th, 2026 after a 3 plus year battle with frontotemporal dementia.

Born on September 7, 1953 in Phillipsburg, NJ, to the late Fannie and Etol Santini.

Linda grew up in Franklin township, NJ, and graduated from Warren Hills Regional High School in 1971. She received her Associate’s degree from Centenary College and finished her BA at Salem College in West Virginia.

Linda was one of the hardest workers out there. She worked several jobs throughout her lifetime but was known to most as Linda from the Log Cabin Inn. Linda’s father, Etol, previously owned the Log Cabin in the 60’s and 70’s and years later Linda bought it back and recreated her father’s business. She was recognized as one of the best eating establishments and top pizza in the state more than once over the course of her ownership.

Linda was loved by all. She was kind, compassionate, and had a heart of gold. Linda was alway the first person to help and gave assistance to anyone in need. If Linda was your friend, you were one of the lucky ones. She loved having lunch with her girlfriends followed by a good shopping spree. Linda was always up to date with the current fashion trend and always looked good. She loved music, attended many concerts, and loved to travel too.

In August of 2017, Linda sold the Log Cabin and retired. It allowed her to spend more time with her family, her grandchildren, and her many friends. Linda and her first love, Joe, rekindled their relationship and were able to enjoy her retirement together with their kids and their grandkids. Boat days at the Lake house, horse shows for the girls, field hockey games, Disney, Aruba, Italy, she did it all.

She was a devoted mother, sister, Nona, partner, and friend.

Her greatest joy was her family, her grandchildren and definitely some of her clothes!!

She will be remembered for many things but her love, her strength, her generosity, and her work ethic were top notch.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy DeLuca and wife Britt, her daughter, Adrienne Wegel and husband Eric. Four grandchildren, Brooklyn, Siena, Cole, and Joelle. And her forever love, Joe. Linda also leaves behind two sisters, Debbie Santini and Barbara Santini and two brothers Robert Santini and David Santini. And many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents Etol and Fannie Santini and her brother Dominick Santini.

Linda’s greatest legacy is the family she built and the love she poured into them every single day. She taught her children and grandchildren the importance of showing up, loving fiercely, and never taking a moment for granted. Her smile and laughter filled rooms, her table fed everyone, and her heart made people feel safe. Through her children and grandchildren, her spirit will continue to live on in every shared meal, slice of pizza, every holiday gathering, and every act of kindness. She was simply the best.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
