Warren W. Winter

Warren W. "Bill" Winter, 80, a lifelong resident of Hampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2020 at Fellowship Manor Nursing Home in Whitehall, PA. Bill was born on February 3, 1940 in Washington, NJ to the late William and Mildred Winter. He was a graduate of North Hunterdon High School class of 1957. Bill served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a tile layer for the Local 1 Washington B.A.C. Brick Layers for 33 years until his retirement in 2000. Bill was a member of the Glen Gardner VFW Post 5119 and was also an exempt member of the Hampton Fire Department. He also belonged to the NYJ Local 7 B.A.C. Bill is survived by his loving daughter Beth Otto and her husband James of Palmerton, PA. He is also survived by his son in law Steve Price of Nazareth, PA., a brother; Thomas P. Winter of Hampton, NJ, and a sister; Patricia L. Neuner of Washington, NJ. Bill also leaves behind his grandchildren; Emily, Erik, and Zach, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Bill is predeceased by his loving wife of 42 years, Virginia, who passed in 2007, and his daughter Amy Price who passed in 2018. He is also predeceased by his brother Dale E. Winter who passed in 2000. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bill's name to the Glen Gardner VFW Post 5119, 179 E. A graveside inurnment service will take place on Saturday December 5, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, NJ. Immediately following anyone who knew Bill is invited for a light lunch at the Glen Gardner VFW Post 5119 for further fellowship and remembrance of Warren's life.
