Virginia Riddle

Virginia Riddle, 92, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2015 at Warren Haven Nursing home. She born on October 24, 1922 in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late Russell and Edith Gardner. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Washington. She graduated from Phillipsburg High School class of 1941. Virginia and her late husband Charles owned and operated Riddle Wall & Floor Covering in Washington for over 50 years. Virginia was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She loved listening to music and playing bingo. Virginia was a recent resident of Warren Haven Nursing Home where she had made many friends. She is survived by her Daughter Carolyn Manfra and her husband Rodney; A niece Joan Cameron and her husband Derek; Nephews Jeffrey Riddle and his wife Mary Jo, John Riddle and his wife Michele. Her loving husband Charles of 65 years passed away in 2009. Graveside funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday September 16, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, NJ.
