Virginia R. Klimko, 89, a lifelong resident of Oxford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026.

Virginia was born on January 1, 1937, at her family home in Oxford, NJ, to the late John and Helen “Bernaski” Rudy. She graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1955. In 1958, she married her soulmate, John Klimko, and together they shared a loving marriage spanning nearly seven decades.

Virginia was employed by American Can in Washington, NJ, where she worked for more than 30 years until her retirement in 1999. Dedicated to serving her community, she was one of the founding members of the Oxford Emergency Squad and remained a proud life member throughout her life.

Virginia was deeply proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed playing the accordion and polka dancing. She embraced life with enthusiasm and had many interests and hobbies. She loved deer hunting and ice fishing, was an accomplished cake decorator, and took great pride in maintaining her beautiful flower gardens. Her warmth, generosity, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John Klimko; her loving sons, John M. Klimko and his wife Robin, Randy S. Klimko and his wife Lori, and Joseph M. Klimko and his wife Jennifer; her cherished grandchildren, Kevin (Ashley), Brad (Erika), Michael (Samantha), Brian (Alissa), Joseph, Jessica (Bill), and Julia (John); and her beloved great-grandchildren, Knox, Tegan, Colby, Addison and Elliana

In addition to her parents, Virginia was predeceased by her brother, Daniel J. Rudy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oxford Emergency Squad in Virginia's memory.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, Oxford, NJ. Interment will immediately follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
