Vera Miller

Vera Marie Miller, 97, a lifelong resident of Washington and Port Murray, NJ went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2017. Vera was born on October 31, 1920 at home in Washington, NJ to the late Ames and Eva Merrill. Vera graduated from Washington high school class of 1938. She work for M&M Mars and the Washington Hosiery. She was a lifetime member of the Faith Discovery Church. Vera was a past member of the Washington Grange. She enjoyed crocheting. Her loving husband Frederick Miller Sr. preceded her in death. Vera is survived by a son Frederick J. Miller and his wife Rose Marie, a daughter Denise Carey and her husband Warren, 5 Grandchildren Corey Miller, Mark Miller, Michael Carey, & Matthew Carey, and 9 Great Grandchildren. A Memorial services celebrating Vera's life will be celebrated on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Discovery Church. 33 Brass Castle Rd. Washington, NJ 07882. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Vera's name to the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
