Trudy L. Maginnis

Trudy L. Maginnis of Washington, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2023, surrounded by family members. She was 62 years old.

Trudy dedicated her life to caring for others, first as a child care worker in day care centers and later as an elder care worker in an assisted living facility. She was also employed as a nanny on a couple of occasions.

Trudy loved her family and family times spent together, especially in her younger years.

Trudy worked the last 18 years as a dietary aide at Independence Manor, an assisted living facility in Flemington, NJ. On her days off she enjoyed relaxing at home doing crossword puzzles and playing card games on her computer.

Her favorite food in the world was coffee ice cream.

Trudy was predeceased by her father Ted Maginnis and a nephew Jeremy Barcik. She is survived by her mother Grace Maginnis, two brothers, Brian Maginnis and Todd Maginnis, one sister, Colleen Barcik, four nephews, Jesse Barcik, Blair Maginnis, Jordan Maginnis and Luke Maginnis and one niece Keri Barcik.

It is the family's wishes that all services be held privately.

In honor of Trudy's dedication to caring for others, both young and old, memorials may be made to an organization of your choice that demonstrates caring for people.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home in Washington, NJ and burial will also be held privately at Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ.
