Susanne Burmeister

Susanne Burmeister 84, of Washington, NJ Passed away peacefully on May 24, 2015 at Lopatcong Care Center. Born on April 28, 1931 in Neuenkirchen, Germany to the late Otto and Hannchen Raetz. Susan married her soulmate Ortwin Burmeister in 1953. They moved from Germany to Washington, NJ in 1958 to raise their family. Susan worked as a Medical lab technician at Warren Hospital before retiring in 1967. She loved to travel and enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting, cooking and baking. Survivors: her loving husband of 62 years Ortwin. A son Andy Burmeister and his wife Laurie. Brothers Peter and Rainer Raetz. Grandchildren Douglas, Nicole and Tanner. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home.
