Shirley Parella

Shirley Ann Parella, 74, of Green Acres, Florida and formerly of Meyersville, NJ died peacefully Friday, October 2, 2009 at Hospice of VNA St. Luke's, Bethlehem, PA. Born: September 4, 19 35 in Toms River, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Helen Sprague. Personal: Shirley was a service manager for the Governor Morris Inn, Morristown, NJ. She was an avid bingo player. Survivors: Her loving husband of 58 years, George; four daughters, Donna Parella of Easton, Debra Parella of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Dori Howell and husband Jeff of Stewartsville, and Doreen Ross of Washington Township, NJ; a brother Clinton Sprague of Toms River; four sisters, Edith Applegate of New Smyrna, FL, Margaret Losyk of Green Acres, FL, Blanche Burdge of Boynton Beach, FL, and Judith Nastasi of Paulsboro, NJ; seven grandchildren, Corilee, Beau, Zachary, Jordan, Tessa, Jenna and Bradley; and a great-grandson Giovanni. Services: Visitation will be held 2 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ with a funeral service to follow at 5:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev.
