Sherry L. Schilling Cuthbert

Sherry Lee Schilling, 60, of Washington, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at her home on July 19, 2026.

Born on August 22, 1965, in Paterson, New Jersey, Sherry was the beloved daughter of the late Joe and Vera (Zabriskie) Schilling.

Sherry found joy in life's simple treasures. She had a passion for collecting rocks, enjoyed photography, loved hiking through nature, and expressed her creativity by making beautiful jewelry. An avid animal lover, she had a special place in her heart for all creatures, especially her beloved dog, Gypsy. Above all, Sherry was a compassionate and caring person who dedicated much of her time to helping the elderly and individuals with disabilities, always offering kindness and support to those in need.

She is survived by her children, Shannon Schilling, Bobbie Schilling and Damon Cuthbert; her brother, Joe Schilling; her lifelong soulmate and devoted caregiver, Alan Pedersen; and her faithful companion, Gypsy.

In addition to her parents, Sherry was predeceased by her grandparents, John and Elizabeth Zabriskie; her aunt, Carol Talmadge; her uncle, John Zabriskie Jr.; and her cousins, Ira Mann and Anthony Mann.

All services will be private and are under the direction of Warren Hills Memorial Home.
