Sherry L. Pursell

Sherry L. Pursell, 65, passed away suddenly on September 8, 2026.

Sherry was born on February 13, 1961, in Flemington, NJ, to the late Betty Schapley. She graduated from Hunterdon Central High School, Class of 1979. That same year, she married her soulmate, Greggory Pursell, and together they began their family.

Sherry was employed as a retail manager for Pfaltzgraff, Life Storage, and Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed reading and gardening and especially loved spending time at the Jersey Shore, including visits to Jenkinson’s in Point Pleasant, NJ. Sherry was an avid animal lover and a devoted New York Yankees fan.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Greggory Pursell; her children, Holly Burdge and her husband, David, and Greggory Pursell Jr.; her three grandchildren, McKenna, Kyle, and David; and her beloved cat, Cooper.

Services will be held privately.
