Sheila Nichols

Sheila Nichols, 77, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on August 8, 2019 at Heath Village in Hackettstown, NJ. Sheila was born on June 7, 1942 in Manhattan, NY to the late William and Ruth Sheehan. She was a graduate of Port Richmond High School Class of 1960. Sheila married the love of her life Nicholas on September 30, 1962. Prior to moving to Belvidere 20 years ago, they resided in Parsippany and Mountain Lakes for many years. Sheila was employed as an insurance claims adjuster prior to her retirement in 1998. She was an avid gardener and had an eye for floral landscaping. She will be remembered for her amazing interior home decorating skills and renovations. She enjoyed watching television, especially DYI and Court shows. Above all, her family was her world. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Nicholas Nichols, her loving sons, Gregory N. Nichols and his partner Catherine Ostenfeld and James T. Nichols and his wife Melissa. Her adored grandchildren, Hannah Nichols; Peter and Kevin Nichols; and step-grandsons, Christopher and Kyle Ostenfeld Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington NJ 07882 from 1:00 - 3:30 PM. A Memorial service celebrating Sheila’s life will immediately follow the visitation at 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
