Samuel J. McCall, 54, of Washington, NJ passed away suddenly on September 30, 2022 in Lebanon, NJ. Sam was born on December 6, 1967 in Plainfield, NJ to Evelyn "Long" McCall. Sam graduated from Piscataway Vocational School class of 1987. He grew up in Plainfield and lived in Somerville, NJ before moving to Washington in 2006. Sam and his loving wife Lanni were married in 1992. He was employed as a carpenter for Somerset County Facilities and Services for more than 18 years. Sam was an avid outdoorsmen. When he wasn't spending time with his wife cooking, gardening, taking rides in the country and trying new restaurants, he could be found in the woods hunting or on the water fishing. He was also a very talented taxidermist. Lanni finds some comfort in knowing that Sam passed away while doing what he enjoyed, hunting.

In addition to his wife of 30 years, Lanni and his mother Evelyn, Sam is survived by a brother Steve McCall.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday October 8, 2022 from 10 AM – 12 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. A memorial service celebrating Sam's life will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Hussey officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
