Ruth Kitchen

Ruth Kitchen, 86, of Belfast, Pa, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in Easton Hospital. Born: On February 21, 1921 in Newton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Vina Johnson. Personal: Her husband, William, died in 1976. A resident of Belfast for the past 40 years, Ruth had previously resided in Pen Argyl, Pa. She employed as a seamstress for Russo's Textiles in Roseto, Pa, for 20 years retiring in 1986. She loved sewing. Ruth was of the Methodist faith. Survivors: Ruth is survived by her longtime companion, Maurice Duplessis; four nieces, Ruthann Rush of Washington, Sandy Bolmer of Stewartsville, NJ, Judy Lopresti of Pen Argyl and Pat Kale of Belfast, Pa, and two nephews, Barry Herman of Asbury, NJ and Fred Johnson Jr. of Pen Argyl. Services: A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremation will be private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ.
