Ruth Dickerson

Ruth M. Dickerson, 94 passed away peacefully at Warren Haven Nursing Home January 14, 2013. Born: November 30, 1918 in Hackettstown, NJ to the late Willard and Ruth Hansler. Personal: She was a resident of the nursing home for the past 17 years. Prior to that she was a lifelong resident of Washington. Ruth was a homemaker. She was of Methodist faith. She loved quilting and Embroidering. But above all family meant the most to her, she enjoyed every moment spent with her family. She will be sadly missed. The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff of Warren Haven for the excellent care and much kindness they provided to Ruth. Survivors: Two daughters, Gail Speirs of Washington and Linda Hotchkin of White Twp; five grandchildren, Stephen Speirs Jr., Sandra Schanzlin, Shelley Speirs, Stephen Kasza III and Lisa Hille; eight great grandchildren. Her husband Clarence passed in 1977; three sisters, Elizabeth Hackman, Helen McCallum, Beulah Edgar; and a brother, Willard Hansler Jr. all passed earlier.
