Ruby Saldino

Ruby Arnel Saldino, 96, passed away peacefully at Warren Hospital on November 22, 2010. Born: September 28, 1914 in Cleburne, TX, she was a daughter of the late James and Mable Kemp. Personal: She was a resident of Changewater for 33 years, previously she lived in Newark, NJ. Ruby was employed by Peter J. Schweitzer Co, of Elizabeth, NJ for 46 years, retiring in 1974. Ruby was of Methodist faith. Ruby was a devoted loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly, she will be sadly missed. Survivors: She is survived by her beloved children, a son, Sylvester Saldino and his wife Jean of Changewater, NJ; a daughter, Brenda Oakes and her husband William of Clinton, NJ; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Sylvester who passed away in 1977; two daughters, Rita Smith and Dorothy Pfeiffer both passed earlier. Services: Visitation will be Friday, November 26, 2010 9 to 11 a.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home. Services will be Friday, November 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Andrew Paek officiating, at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. Burial in the Washington Cemetery, Washington, NJ.
