Ronald Sutton

Ronald J. Sutton Sr, 69, of Washington Township, NJ passed away peacefully on May 4, 2018 at home surrounded by his family Born on June 4, 1948 in Newton, NJ to the late Donald and Estelle Sutton Ronald graduated from Sparta high school class of 1967. He served proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Ronald worked as an auto mechanic for Young's Volkswagen in Bernardsville, NJ. He was an avid bowler and a member of the "Monday Night Misfits" bowling league. Ronald was a civil war history buff. He enjoyed searching his family genealogy. Ronald's hobbies included woodworking, working in his yard, the outdoors and feeding the birds. He is survived by his significant other Maggie Baker, A daughter, Donalyn Trowbridge and her husband Benjamin. Sons, Ronald J. Sutton Jr and his wife Antonia and Michael Sutton. Sisters, Dona Sutton, Alice Robinson and Betty Simmons. A brother, Gene Sutton. 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and his 4 cats. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday May 9, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-8:30 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A time for sharing will start at 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ronald's name to the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, 100 Madison Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
