Roger Leo DeLuca, 87, of the Mountain Lake section of White Township passed away peacefully on September 4, 2021 at Morristown hospital. Roger was born on September 14, 1933 in Passaic, NJ to the late Leo and Lena "DeMattia" DeLuca. Roger graduated from Clifton High School class of 1952. He served proudly in the US Navy during the Korea War. Roger was employed as a cost estimator for Bonland Industries for more than 50 years until his retirement in 2005. Roger and his wife Judith "Menegus" were married in 1961. They were parishioners of St Joseph Catholic Church in Washington. Roger was a member and past president of the American Society of Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers North Jersey Chapter. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He also enjoyed reading presidential biographies. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Judith; a daughter, Linda Ritchie and her husband Robert; a son, Michael DeLuca and his wife Geryl; Sisters, Helen DelFavero and Olga Moro; Brothers, William DeLuca and Roy DeLuca; grandchildren, Christopher, Kelly, James, John and Zack, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. 200 Carlton Ave. Washington, NJ 07882.
