Robert Treitler Jr.

Robert A. Treitler Jr. formerly of Washington, NJ passed away in Marietta, GA on February 25, 2017. Robert was born in Middletown, CT on June 13, 1951 to the late Robert and Mary Jane Treitler. Robert graduated from Warren Hills High School, class of 1970. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for his father's business "Treitler-Owens Inc" in Washington, NJ before moving to Georgia in 1990. Robert enjoyed collecting specialty knives and firearms. He was an avid shooter and enjoyed his time at the gun range. Other hobbies included woodworking and being outdoors. He loved the beach and spending time with his family. Robert is survived by his loving sisters Linda Treitler and Wendy Luckey along with her husband Thomas. Niece Kelsey Hood, her husband Matthew, and son Jacob. Niece Brianna Luckey and her fiance Josh. Robert also had a loving dog, Jackie. He will also be truly missed by his extended family and friends in both New Jersey and Georgia. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday March 4, 2017 from 9:00am - 12:00pm at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated immediately following at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pequest Union cemetery in Great Meadows, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's name to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
