Robert Cecil Howell

Robert Cecil Howell, 96, of Washington Township, NJ passed away peacefully on October 22, 2020 at the Brakley Park care Center. Robert was born on January 26, 1924 in White Township, NJ to the late Alvin and Carrie "Reese" Howell. He served proudly in the US Army during WWII. He was employed in the Oxford Mines during his youth and later as a maintenance/Facilities person for Centenary College and Hunterdon County Schools until his retirement in 2002. Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 70 years. He enjoyed hunting, playing Quoits and reading the Bible. He also loved his flower garden. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Anna Howell; his sons, Robert Howell, Gary Howell and Lee E Smith; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his 2nd wife Irene Tausch and a son Rick Howell. Graveside services will be celebrated with military honors on Tuesday November 3, 2020 at 11:00 Am at the Washington Cemetery.
