Robert Capaldo, Sr.

Robert Raymond Capaldo, Sr., 61, of Lebanon Township, NJ passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on February 4, 2015. Born in Elizabeth, NJ on June 25, 1953 to Ruth Capaldo and the late Robert J. Capaldo. Robert was a graduate of Woodbridge High School. He resided in Fords and Perth Amboy before residing in Lebanon Township. He was a devoted stay at home dad. His hobbies included woodworking, listening to music, chess and debating politics. He enjoyed cooking and his specialty was all things carnivore. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hiking and camping. Robert also had a lifelong love of animals. He is survived by his wife Joan; his two children Robert Jr. and Juliette; his mother Ruth; a sister Ruth Arnold and her husband Mark. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday February 10, 2015 from 4-7 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral Services will be Wednesday February 11, 2015 10:00 AM held at St. Theodores Church in Port Murray NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert's memory to Common Sense for Animals, P.O. Box 589, Broadway, NJ 08807 and Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Westcott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
