Richard Jones

Richard C. Jones passed away suddenly on April 25th 2014. Born: March 18th 1940 in Scranton, Pa. to the late Margaret Jennings Jones and Caswell Jones. Personal: Richard was a plumber for 30 years with Koehler Plumbing and Heating in Hillside, N.J. before moving to Washington where he worked for Schaible Plumbing & Heating in Hampton, N.J. Upon retiring. He attended Linden High School. He was a baseball and football coach for Linden PAL in Linden, N.J. for over 10 years where he resided before moving to Washington. He loved football and boxing and taking walks with the family dog. Survivors : His loving wife Marie Jones of 30 years, His daughters Jeanne Marie Jones of Rahway ,NJ, Lois Tekula of Linden N.J, Karen Belcher of Piscataway and Ashley Jones of Washington, NJ. His son Richard C. Jones Jr. who preceded him January 2013. A son in law Gary Belcher, A sister Joy Tamarana of Whiting, N. J. Stepchildren : Denise Makkas of Easton, Pa., Charles Kolb Of Clark, NJ, Michele Andre of Clark, NJ 6 Grandchildren and 10 Step- grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews. Memorial Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Richard will be laid to rest at St. Gertrude's Cemetery Colonia, N. J. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
