Richard Benschoten

Richard Van Benschoten, 63, of Franklin Township passed away peacefully on June 3, 2010 at Beth Israel Hospital. Born: September 9, 19 46 in Newark, he was a son of the late Elmer and Ruth Van Benschoten. Personal: He was a resident of Franklin Township for 37 years, he previously lived in Westfield, NJ. Richard was a salesman, employed by Komax Corp. Richard graduated from Westfield High School, class of 1964. Survivors: He leaves behind a son, David Van Benschoten of Phillipsburg; a daughter, Amanda Van Benschoten of New Mexico; a brother, Robert of Vermont; a granddaughter, Emily. Services: Visitation will be Monday, June 7, 2010 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be private.
