Patricia Thiede

Patricia (Pat) Thiede, 72, of Washington Township, NJ, passed away unexpectedly in her home on December 20, 2022.

Pat was born on April 5, 1950 to the late Neil and Marie Thiede and grew up in Midland Park, New Jersey. She graduated from Midland Park High School in 1968 and attended Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Pat worked as a Fraud Investigator for New England Telephone/AT&T from 1972 to 1998. During those years she lived in Boston, Massachusetts and Burlington, Vermont before moving to Washington, New Jersey.

From 1998 until 2006 Pat was a Clothing Consultant for Blue Fish Clothing in Frenchtown, New Jersey. Pat married the love of her life, Howard Kron, in 2008 and they lived together in Washington, New Jersey until his death in 2015. Pat loved live music and sharing a meal with friends. She served as Vice Chair of the Warren County Democrats and volunteered for WNTI Radio. She was also a supporter and active member of the Musconetcong Watershed Association.

Pat is survived by her beloved pets, her dogs, Levon and Bella, and cats, Ophelia and Jemima. Levon and Bella have been adopted and her cats are being cared for at Common Sense for Animals. Pat was a smart, independent woman with strong opinions about everything. Her company and conversation will be missed by her many friends.

Friends may pay their respects at a memorial gathering on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 11 AM until 12:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. An additional celebration of Pat's life will be held in the spring at a date, time and place to be announced.
