Noel Oquendo

Noel "Nunu" Oquendo, 46, passed away suddenly at work on July 25, 2017. Noel was born in Hoboken, NJ on May 31, 1971 to the late Thomas Oquendo and Luz Padilla. Noel graduated from Westside high school in Newark, NJ in 1989. He worked as a Machine mechanic for Berry Plastics. He married the love of his life "Te Quiero mi amor". Stacy "Frank" Oquendo in 2006. Noel was a huge NJ Devils fan. He was an avid fishermen and enjoyed repairing and building computers. He is survived by his beloved wife Stacy. A beloved stepdaughter Sydney Staniulis. His mother Luz. A sister Wilda Rivera. Brothers Reinalda Rivera, Jorge Rivera, Pedro Rivera, David Rivera, Thomas Oquendo, Louis Oquengo and David Oquendo. His loving dogs Holly and Lady. Noel was preceded in death by his father Thomas and a sister Blanca Orengo. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday July 28, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 w.
