Nicholas Bocko

Nicholas Bocko, 93, of Tomes River, NJ went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2018. Passing away peacefully at Community Memorial Hospital. Nick was born on May 4, 1925 in Bangor, PA to the late Andrew and Anna Bocko. Nick graduated from Bangor high school class of 1943. He served proudly in the US Army during WWII. Nick was employed as an automobile salesman for most of his life. He was a member of the VFW in Berkley, NJ. Nick was a great conversationalist, as he loved spending time talking to his family and friends. He is survived by his brothers, John Bocko, Michael Bocko and his wife Dorothy and a sister in-law, Marie Bocko. Nick was preceded in death by a sister Mary DeFrank and brothers Alexander Bocko, Frank Bocko and William (Woody) Bocko. Family and friend may pay their respects on Monday December 17, 2018 from 10-11 AM at the Warren Hills memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Pequest Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nick's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
