Miladys Denis

Miladys Denis, 89, of Perth Amboy, NJ passed away peacefully on November 7, 2021 at Warren Haven Nursing Home.

Miladys was born on May 5, 1932 in La Vega, Dominican Republic. She was a school teacher in the Dominican Republic before immigrating to the United States. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Sayreville. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Miladys was a wonderful cook and she liked writing poems in her spare time.

Miladys is survived by her sons, Robert, Albert and his wife Rosemary; daughters, Debbie and her husband Edward; and Elizabeth and her husband Adolfo and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfonso Denis, a sister, Elsa and a brother Alcides.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday November 14, 2021 from 1-4 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A graveside service celebrating Miladys life will be held on Monday November 15, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Hillside Cemetery. 1401 Woodland Ave. Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
