Maureen Schomp

Maureen A Schomp, 76, of Washington Township, NJ passed away peacefully on June 12, 2019 at Brakley Park Care Center. Maureen was born on July 7, 1942 in Newark, NJ to the late Phillip and Audrey Moore. Maureen graduated from Westfield high school class of 1960. She attended Union County College, Kean University and the Professional School of Insurance. She worked in Insurance sales for the Elizabeth Agency, PLI Brokerage and Brown & Brown Insurance before retiring in 2014. She loved cats. She also enjoyed reading, going to Atlantic City, playing cards with her friends and she enjoyed having a cocktail at the Bistro. Maureen was an avid NY Mets fan and NASCAR fan. She was also a member of the Warren County Seniors. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kristen Morrow and her husband William; A brother, Alan Moore; 2 grandchildren William and Grace. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday June 15, 2019 from 12-1 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Memorial services will be celebrated immediately following at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
