Mary Harchar

Mary E. Harchar, 94, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on October 5, 2015 in Phillipsburg, NJ. Born in Luzerne, Pa. on May 20, 1921, to the late, Anthony Sumpolec and Anna Sumpolec. Mary worked in the textile industry as a seamstress prior to her retirement. She was of the Catholic faith and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Washington, NJ. She enjoyed word puzzles and was a fan of Dancing with the Stars. Mary is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her devoted husband Francis Harchar. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church 200 Carlton Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Burial will immediately follow in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery in Washington, NJ, 07882.
