Mary E Deremer

Mary E. Deremer, 90, passed away after a long illness on May 19, 2023 at the Lopatcong Care Center. Mary was born on October 28, 1932 in Harmony, NJ to the late Harold and Mary "Wilson" Casey. Mary grew up in Harmony Township and attended Belvidere High School. Mary was employed as a custodian and night supervisor for Mansfield Elementary School until her retirement in 2006. She enjoyed reading, watching television, chatting on the phone with family and friends, catalog shopping and taking care of her plants. Her loving husband Ronald passed away in 1981.

Mary is survived by a son, David Deremer; a daughter, Karen Deremer; a brother, Paul Thomas Casey; sisters, Catherine Rush and Page Elaine Lubowiki; granddaughters, Stephanie Wolfinger and Amy Myers; great grandchildren, Jaelyne, Jordan, Mya, Evan and Dylan. In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by a grandson Scott Deremer.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday May 23, 2023 from 5-6 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service celebrating Mary's life will begin at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery will be private.
