Martin S. Levine, 71, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on September 7, 2017 peacefully at home with his family by his side. Born on December 23, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Benjamin and Lillian Levine. He met the love of his life Carol and married her in 1983. Martin was employed as an electrician for the NY Housing Authority. He was an avid chess player and a very talented billiards player. He loved magic and mastered many magic tricks bewildering all those he entertained. He also became a certified hypnotist. Martin is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Carol Levine, his loving children, a son David Buzec and his wife Christine and a daughter Michele Cameron and her husband Scott. 4 cherished grandchildren, Lisa, Michael, Boe and Cody. 4 great-grandchildren, Jude, Lucas, Scott and Kaitlyn and a nephew Richie. He is also survived by Thomas Oswin whom he considered a son. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 10 AM-12 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 12:00PM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows, NJ In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martin's name to the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice 99 Sparta Drive, Newton, NJ 07860.
