Marion Brinkman

Marion J. Brinkman, age 83, of Mansfield Twp and formerly of Pine Brook, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2014 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Born: on August 5, 1930 in New York, NY to the late Joseph and Josephine Maestri, she grew up in Manhattan and Staten Island. She is survived by her spouse of 58 years, John, and her children Elizabeth and Mark. Personal: Marion graduated from Holy Cross Academy in New York. She had a passion for dancing and performed all over the world under direction of Hal Sands. Later on, Marion worked at Capezio (dance shoes), became a receptionist for Movielab in New York, and The Children's Place in Pine Brook, NJ. She and her husband John celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on 8 September 2013. She was a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Parsippany and recently St. Theodore Catholic Church in Port Murray. Services: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Theodore Catholic Church, 855 State Hwy Route 57, Port Murray, NJ 07865.
