Marie F. Bocko

Marie F. Bocko, 91, of Tampa, Florida and previously of Washington, NJ went home to be with the lord on October 7, 2023 at Tampa General Hospital.

Marie was born on August 11, 1932 in Marksboro, NJ to the late Bernie and Florence Zwolinski.

Marie was a graduate of Hackettstown High School class of 1950. She worked for many years with her husband at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company before retiring in 1990. Marie enjoyed doing crafts and reading, but most of all she enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Family was the most important thing to Marie and she prided herself to be the best mother one could ask for.

She is survived by her children; Donna, Thomas and Richard, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great- grandchildren. Marie also leaves behind her beloved sister, Florence Dzurek.

In addition to her parents, Marie is predeceased by her husband Alexander, who passed in 2015 and her sister, Irene Matsko.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service celebrating Marie's life will begin at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ.
