Lillian Grochowicz

Lillian N. Grochowicz, 88, of Glen Gardner, passed away peacefully Friday, July 16, 2010 at Hunterdon Care Center . Born: January 14, 19 22 in Port Morris, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Jenny Volpe. Personal: She and her husband, John, celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on July 13, 2010 . Lillian was a homemaker and had lived in Glen Gardner for the past 58 years. She graduated from the Roxbury School District and attended Master Beauty School in Passaic , NJ . Memberships: She was a member of St. Ann 's Roman Catholic Church, Hampton. Survivors: In addition to her loving husband John; a daughter Kathy Lindaberry and her husband Mark of Washington; two sons, John N. Grochowicz and his wife Lois of Bushkill, PA and Thomas Grochowicz and his wife Michelle of Glen Gardner; three sisters, Teresa Kott, Nan Whitmore and Jean Nichols; a brother Arthur Volpe; ten grandchildren Ashley, Chelsey, Makensey, Thomas, Rebecca, Brian, Robert, John Jr., Janine and Amy; and two great-grandchildren. Services: Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 20 in Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue , Washington , NJ . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21 at St. Ann 's Roman Catholic Church, 6 Church Street , Hampton , NJ with Fr. Michael Saharic officiating. Burial will be in St. Ann 's Parish Cemetery , Hampton . Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue , Washington , NJ 07882 .
