Leonard Hicks

Leonard W. Hicks, Jr., 89, of Chicopee , MA , formerly of Nazareth , PA , died on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield . Born: Leonard was born on March 15, 19 21 in Worcester , MA . He was the son of the late Leonard W. Hicks, Sr. and Rhoda Stanley Hicks. Personal: He was a self employed slate roofer. Leonard lived in Pennsylvania for fifty years, before moving to Chicopee . Memberships: He was a mason of the Trenton Shriner's and a member of the Guiding Light Angel Lodge 565 of Bronx, NY. Survivors: He is survived by two brothers, Thomas Hicks of Longmeadow and John Hicks and his wife, Mae of Ludlow; three sisters, Margaret Conlon of Agawam, Lottie Tufts of Springfield and Maude Rousseau and her husband, Joseph of Agawam. He also leaves several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-grand nieces and nephews. Leonard is also survived my many friends and family in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts . Leonard is predeceased by a sister, Doris Hicks and a brother, James Hicks. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services: Calling hours are on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 4 to 6 pm at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave. , Washington , NJ .
