Leo J Day

Leo J. Day, 81, of Franklin Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, at Newton Medical Center.

Born on July 14, 1943, in New York, NY, Leo was the son of the late Leo and Lillian (Korpi) Day. He was a 1961 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and went on to serve proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Following his military service, Leo worked as a customer representative for JCP&L and later with Fromm Electric in Phillipsburg. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own business, Quality Industrial Services, which he operated until his retirement in 2017.

In 1988, Leo and his beloved wife, Judy (Quigley) Day, settled in Franklin Township, where they built their dream home and spent many happy years together. Leo had a passion for gardening, fishing, and staying active through regular exercise. A man of deep faith, he also found great comfort and joy in reading the Bible.

Leo is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Judy, along with many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Greenwich Cemetery, 15 Greenwich Church Rd., Stewartsville, NJ 08886.
