Kenneth D. Paulson, 82, of the Brookfield Section of Belvidere, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Ken was born on November 18, 1938 in Erie, PA to the late Kenneth G. and Marguerite J. Paulson. Ken graduated from East Aurora High School class of 1957. Ken worked at George Swatek Co. in Ridgefield, NJ from 1979 (when we moved to NJ) until his retirement in 2000. Ken and his wife Marilyn were married for more than 60 years. They moved from Stanhope to Brookfield in 2002. Ken was quite the socialite, he was known by his friends as the "Mayor of Brookfield" he could always be found sitting in the drive way greeting his neighbors as they walked by. Ken enjoyed fishing, bowling and was a member of the poker club at Brookfield. In addition to being survived by his loving wife Marilyn of 60 years, Ken is also survived by his daughter, Denise and husband Frank of Andover, NJ, daughter Kimberly of Belvidere, a brother William and his wife Sharon of DuBois, PA and a sister Peggy of Conneaut, Ohio. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday June 23, 2021 from 11 AM until 12:30 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Memorial Service celebrating Ken's life will begin at 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
