Kathleen P. Seaman

Kathleen P. Seaman, 94, of Belvidere, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, at Mira Vie Senior Living at Brookfield in Belvidere, NJ.

Kathleen was born on September 1, 1932, in Bayonne, New Jersey, to the late John and Mary (née Menton) Degnan. She was a graduate of Bayonne High School and went on to enjoy a long career as a secretary and office administrator, working for many years at the Woodbridge Township School District and later as a manager with AT&T.

Kathleen was a woman who found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially those shared with the people she loved. She was an incredible cook and took great pride in entertaining and hosting family gatherings. Her home was often a place where family and friends came together around a good meal, enjoying one another's company and making lasting memories. She was also an avid reader and loved to travel, always appreciating the opportunity to experience new places.

Her Catholic faith was an important and enduring part of Kathleen's life. She was a devoted member of her parish community and served in the Altar Rosary Society as well as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector for Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church.

Above all, Kathleen cherished her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, generosity, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Patricia Housman and her husband Robert, Maureen Dicker and her husband Joel, and Christine Seaman and her partner, Richard Mannion; her grandchildren, Marissa and her husband Praveen, Brenna and her husband Scott, Jarrod and his wife Chelsea, and Jackie and her husband Sohail; and her great-grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Ravi, Knox, Nash, Zayn, Nyla, James, Frankie Kay, and Millie.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her beloved husband, James E. Seaman, who passed away in 2013; her brother, Jack Degnan; her sister, Mary Kukucka.

Kathleen will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, devotion to her family and faith, and the many wonderful memories she created throughout her life. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Kathleen’s name to the Alzheimer's Association at Alzheimer's Association . Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Belvidere, NJ. Burial at St. Partick’s Cemetery will immediately follow.
