Katherine Tishuk

Katherine Anita Tishuk, 93, formerly of Orange, Livingston and Saxton Falls, NJ passed away peacefully Friday, December 24, 2010 at home in White Township surrounded by her family. Born: April 23, 19 17 in Orange , NJ she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Catharine Chalmers. Personal: She worked as a packer for M&M Mars in Hackettstown for six years, retiring in 1977. Memberships: Katherine was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Belvidere . Survivors: Her loving husband Fred Tishuk; twin daughters: Kathy Jordan DeFranzo, and Susanne Jordan Baker; nine grandchildren: Silvio Bonvini, Nicole Bonvini Delpurgatorio, Gina DeFranzo Babcock, Michelle DeFranzo Solecki, Dan DeFranzo, Dawn Baker Emery, Kimberly Baker Burgess, Pamela Jordan Wachowicz and Carissa Jordan Caliguiri; and 15 great-grandchildren. A daughter Barbara Bonvini, and a son Richard "Rick" Jordan Jr. passed away earlier. Services: Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave. , Washington , NJ 07882 . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 29 in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 327 Greenwich St. , Belvidere , NJ 07823 . Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover , NJ . Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave. , Washington , NJ 07882 . Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place , Memphis TN 38105-1942 , and/or Hospice Compassionate Care, or the Autism New Jersey Fund.
