Josephine Della Monica

Josephine Marie Della Monica, 97, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Memory Care Unit of the Chelsea. She was born on December 3, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Ralph and Almerinda Damiani. Josephine worked as the office manager for Delmonico's the family's wine making business in Brooklyn. Her loving husband of 65 years, Gerald, passed away in 2007. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and was very dedicated to her family and her work. She is survived by her caring daughter Anne Marie MacIntyre and her husband Bill, a grandson, Justin MacIntyre and his wife Megan, great grandchildren Riley and Noah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:45 AM on Thursday November 2, 2017 from St. Margaret's RC Church. 66-05 79th Place. Middle Village, NY. 11379. Entombment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village, NJ. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
