Josephine G Amey

Josephine G. Amey, 94, of New Village, NJ passed away at her home on July 12, 2025. She was born on August 14, 1930 in New Village, NJ to the late Alfred and Anna Spadoni Bevilacqua.

She was a graduate of Washington High School class of 1948. Josephine was a homemaker for most of her life.

She enjoyed cooking and her trips to Atlantic City with her sisters. She was a member of the 1st Lutheran Church in Stewartsville, NJ and the Over 50's Club.

Josephine was predeceased by her loving husband John "Jack" H. Amey, who passed in 2019, her siblings, Rena Preziosi, Fermina Rossini, Erma Chiu, Eva Butler, Alvera Pettinari and Mary Guidi.

She is survived by her daughter, Jodi L. Amey of Stewartsville and her son, John A. Amey and his wife Tara of Washington, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Julia Aurenzi, Alexis and Hailey Amey, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882 and again on Thursday July 17, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. A service celebrating Josephine's life will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment at Stewartsville Presbyterian Cemetery will immediately follow.
